The Friends of Jersey Lilly Saloon is a committee of locals who in 2008 saw a need to begin fundraising efforts to KEEP PRESCOTT LIT as Arizona's Christmas City lighting up over hundreds of trees surrounding the courthouse plaza. Annual fundraising efforts raise and donate over 50k. That makes The Friends of Jersey Lilly Saloon the single largest contributor to the annual lighting event. JOIN US THE FIRST THURSDAY OF NOVEMBER Nearly one-half of the money that goes toward the cost of Prescott's iconic Courthouse Lighting is collected by a saloon just across the street on the historic Whiskey Row, Jersey Lilly Saloon.
Which began by raising about $1,300 in it's first year. For the past two years , the fundraiser's total has come in at about $50,000. That makes the Friends of Jersey Lilly the single Largest contributor to the annual lighting. Proceeds from the Jersey Lilly Courthouse Lighting fundraiser go to the Prescott Chamber of Commerce, which oversees the Courthouse Lighting and annually raises money to cover the cost.
